Assalamu ‘alaykum.
Welcome to LOWP Books website. The website has been under construction to serve you efficiently.
In the meantime, if you are in Singapore, and would like to get your hands on our new book, Getting Closer to Him, By the Day: 101 Du’ā’s You Can’t Go Without, you can
This is the book you have been looking for, to confirm, familiarize or learn that du’ā’. The du’a’ you’ve fallen in love with listening to, at your local mosque or social gatherings but couldn’t get the opportunity to find its text.
One more interesting thing you would like about this book is that the du’ā’ herein are either from the Qur’an or from the authenticated Sunnah of the Prophet, sallā Allāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam.
Furthermore, you can refer to these du’ā’ at any time, regardless of your mood, condition, surrounding or background.
If it happens that you’re not comfortable with the Arabic Language, you can depend on the English translations herein for your reference of Qur’anic and Prophetic supplications.
The book comes in 17 sections. Section 1 is an introductory section, while section two highlight importance, values and etiquettes of du’ā’. And the last section, section 17 is for the refrence and about the author.
Below is breakdown of sections 3 to 16:
This is a book of du‘ā’s. It’s primarily for everyone. But it’s specifically for you if:
If you’re reading these lines, it is sufficient an indication of your compassion to communicate with Allah. Rest assured, the book is here to help further strengthen that relationship and take it to the highest level possible, inshā Allāh.
The du‘ā’s compiled in the book are arranged in a flexible way that ensures your efficient communication with Him, while maintaining flexibility and easy reference.
Therefore, there’re a few ways through which you can use this book efficiently and develop a special love story with each du‘ā’ therein.
One of which is that you read the du‘ā’s in the sequence they come in, from the beginning of the book to the end. Of course, basing on your convenience.
Alternatively, you can browse through the Table of Contents and go through the categories, and then decide the category and the specific du‘ā’s that correspond to your current emotional and spiritual needs.
Also, du‘ā’s that originally come in first person singular are pluralized in a grey box beneath its English translation. However, du‘ā’s that originally come in first persons plurals are left intact.
Another way to use the book is to focus on one du‘ā’ and make it your central du‘ā’ for three days or a week before moving on to another du‘ā’. I will suggest this way if you are not familiar with the du‘ā’, or if you want to memorize them.
